Seniors conjugate well verbs such as plan, prioritize and collaborate, which are instrumental to optimize the hypothesis-test-learn cycle of innovative high-growth initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the perception that senior people have a limited ability to adapt to \"dynamic environments\" may be unfairly holding back their involvement in entrepreneurial projects. I think that there are few more flexible and dynamic exercises than the evaluation by a senior manager of different strategic or operational courses of action based on his\/her experience and know-how.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Greater generational diversity in startup management teams would multiply their economic and social impact, while enabling natural and attractive opportunities for senior professionals. The reference of forward-thinking entrepreneurs and investors will accelerate this change.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Desde mi perspectiva de profesional s\u00e9nior me llama mucho la atenci\u00f3n el reducido n\u00famero de seniors que hay en los equipos de gesti\u00f3n de las startups. El talento senior complementa al de las generaciones j\u00f3venes en edad, no compite con \u00e9l. Los seniors conjugamos bien verbos como planificar, priorizar y colaborar, determinantes para optimizar el ciclo hip\u00f3tesis-prueba-aprendizaje de las iniciativas innovadoras con alto crecimiento. Sin embargo, la percepci\u00f3n de que el colectivo s\u00e9nior tiene una limitada capacidad de adaptaci\u00f3n a \u201centornos din\u00e1micos\u201d puede estar frenando injustamente la involucraci\u00f3n de seniors en los proyectos de emprendimiento. Pienso que hay pocos ejercicios m\u00e1s flexibles y din\u00e1micos que la evaluaci\u00f3n por parte de un s\u00e9nior de distintas l\u00edneas de actuaci\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gicas u operativas en base a su experiencia y vivencias. Una mayor diversidad generacional en los equipos de gesti\u00f3n de las startups multiplicar\u00eda su impacto econ\u00f3mico y social, habilitando al mismo tiempo oportunidades laborales naturales y atractivas para los profesionales s\u00e9nior.
